Tips for printing advertising posters

Make sure that you upload a PDF file with a maximum size of 64 Mb. If the size of your file is larger than allowed for online printing, we recommend you reduce it by using any of the free applications available on Google. The compression of the file should not affect the printing quality, but in case of preference, you could send us the file by writing to shop@workcenter.es. Do not forget to include the order number you should have received in your mail. Your file should have a minimum resolution of 150 d.p.i., and should be saved in actual size printing. For example, if you want to ask for digital printing of an advertising poster with 70 x 100 cm dimensions, the image you should upload must be in 70 x 100, with a 150 dpi resolution. However, if your image has a smaller measurement, the resolution must be larger, as many times as we have to enlarge it. If your image measures half of the actual size of printing, the resolution should be double (300 d.p.i.). Check out your final art to avoid mistakes and typos. Convert the fonts or texts and shape and outline them. To do so, you need apps or software specialized in graphic design. If your layout has layer masks or transparencies, you must combine them since we won’t make overprinting adjustments. To avoid color variations, you must convert the color of your file to CMYK. Do not forget that digital printing does not work with Pantone or spot colors.
